Chablis 1er Cru 2020

100% Chardonnay – Appellation Premier Cru of the Chablis wine-growing region (Yonne). This appellation comprises 40 Premier Cru Climats (named plots of vinegrowing land). Each commune or hamlet within the appellation has one or more main Climats, the name of which may be applied to the other Premier Cru Climats in that commune. There are 17 main Climats. “Come on! You are in the land of Chablis, where a white wine of great purity flourishes. The one of the table of kings! Under its fairly light color, pale gold or green gold, this white expresses a very fresh, lively and mineral nose; we find flint, green apple, lemon; the undergrowth and the mushroom (mousseron). Some notes of linden, mint, acacia are frequent, as well as aromas of liquorice and cut hay. This Chablis 1er Cru has a great aromatic complexity, which predisposes it to numerous associations, notably seafood, white meat in sauce, lamb with curry, fish with sorrel, or cheese (goat or Comté).
